BBR Turbo In Our Mazda Mx5 Mk3 – 335BHP !!!!
We have installed the BBR Turbo in to our Le Mans coloured MK3 MX5, we have been to Bruntingthorpe Airfield today to give the Turbo some testing.
We are producing 335BHP with still plenty more that can be produced, initially we are going to test at 335BHP.
The accelleration knocks you back in to the seat very nicely, we were spinning the wheels up through all the gears, the beauty about Bruntingthorpe is the 3.5 mile straight which allowed us to see what maximum speed we can get out of the set up.
Maximum speed today with the existing Differentail was 150MPH, more is possible if we switch the differential ratio’s, we doubt it will be required on the selection of race tracks we have here in the UK.
So all in all – good initial testing
